Join us on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. in 2520-D UCC for the Humanities Awardee Showcase and Reception. This event is open to all faculty who would like to learn more about external awards and recognition while connecting with humanities colleagues from around the university.   

The program will feature welcoming remarks from Luis Martín-Estudillo, director of the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies, followed by a panel discussion with recent prestigious award winners, including 2024 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award recipient Lan Samantha Chang, 2023 National Endowment of the Arts Fellow Donika Kelly, and 2024 Andrew Carnegie Fellow Julianna Pacheco. The panel will be co-moderated by Roland Racevskis, Associate Dean for the Arts and Humanities in CLAS, and Josh Weiner, Associate Dean for Research in CLAS.   

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with panelists and fellow faculty. Light refreshments will be provided.
