Title: The Representation Ring of a Quiver Abstract: In this talk, we define in a natural way the tenor product of representations of a quiver Q and introduce the representation ring R(Q) of Q.  We then define rank functors on R(Q) and construct ring homomorphisms which serve as tools to obtain numerical invariants that offer insights into and help determine the internal structure of R(Q).
